Tell the story about the need for resources in your Mississippi County. Particularly about the lack of surveys for African-American Cemeteries.

Thank you.
From 1870 on, I have a reasonable amount of information on my 2x grandfather, Alexander Walker. I have a death certificate and his second marriage record which indicate that he is the son of a John and Harriet Walker. I know he was in Madison, VA prior to emancipation. But I have know documentation of him there other than documents after the fact.
Peace and Blessings to you VKN my grandfather Robert Shropshire was the only child of Newt and Susie Shropshire all I have to go off of is my grandfathers obituary but haven't been able to get any information about him my grandmother did his obituary...
I want to see some Texans in your line Ms V LOL
Thanks VKN!
No, I have find out what the family address was.
I need to order a death certificate for Lula; I have not been able to view one online.
I would love to meet my Baltimore relatives, just tell me when and where :)
Louis Crook b1850 was born in TX and lists both his parents as being born in TX, Elise, his wife, was b1850 was also born in TX and lists both her parents as being born in MO on the 1900 census. However, by the 1930 census, he lists he and his parents as being from Arkansas.
I sent an 1870 census that is not relevant, those Crooks are not related to me.
Thank you so much and I will be telling my friends and my family about this. I will bring much support to this site!
Thanks for the welcome hug VKN! My Bass are out of MS too. Just don't know much. Have hit a brick wall.
